A Little Bit About Me...
Hi everyone!
First, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Becky, I live with my husband Tom, Dog Jenson (he’s a rescue!), and quails Quackers, and Quavers. I also own a horse called Maddie who lives a happy stress-free life with her friends on a livery yard.
I have always loved being around animals but believing your career should not be your hobby I found myself doing a Psychology degree and working as a carer, then an assistant psychologist. It didn’t take me long to realise this wasn’t really for me, so I was drawn back to the idea of working with animals. I worked as a self-employed groom and went back to uni to complete a MSc in Equine Performance, Health, and Welfare. I am interested in equine feeding behaviour which was the focus of my dissertation.
Afterwards, I found myself working in animal science working with livestock (Sheep, Cattle, Pigs, Poultry), rabbits, and horses. To broaden my experience working with animals, for a short while I worked as a veterinary care assistant in a leading referral and out of hours hospital. I enjoyed working with all different animals and decided to build my own business that allows me to care for all animals and have a happier working life!
