The person behind The Pet Hand
Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. The Pet Hand grew from that lifelong love and a wish to offer care I would trust with my own animals.
Dogs, cats and hamsters were always family favourites. My little ponies sparked a love of horses too.
When I was 10, I started riding and helping out at my local riding school.
I began my career in care and psychology, but kept feeling drawn to working with animals. I completed an MSc in Equine Performance, Health and Welfare while working as a self-employed groom.
I went on to work in animal science with livestock, horses and rabbits, and later as a veterinary care assistant.
I wanted to offer friendly, reliable care that feels personal. Whether I am walking your dog, visiting your pet at home or caring for your horse, I give them the same love and attention I would give my own.
