For as long as I can remember I have always been surrounded by animals. Dogs, cats, and hamsters were always our family favourites.
My love of horses started with my little ponies, then I started riding and helping out at my local riding school when I was 10.
I started my career in care and Psychology, but I kept being drawn to my childhood dream of working with animals. I completed an MSc in Equine, Performance, Health, and Welfare whilst working as a self-employed groom. From there I worked in an animal science role working with livestock, horses, and rabbits, then subsequently as a veterinary care assistant.
Wish I found Becky sooner! Excellent service and animals (dogs and horses) well cared for - and she followed instructions to the letter!

Becky did a superb job at looking after our sheep, chickens and rabbits for us for 10days in August.
From initial enquiry via "The Pet Hand" website; receiving the quote and completing my booking; showing Becky around and explaining all the quirks of our smallholding, through to returning to find everything exactly how we expected- the entire process was efficient and professional.
Becky listened to everything we asked her to do and our animals were in great condition when we returned. She was also proactive in recognising sheep needing medical attention and wasted no time in calling for help to ensure they got it.
We are delighted to have found Becky and will definitely be asking her to help us again in the near future.
